Accumulating snow ends between midnight and 2-3am as the Snow Storm Winds Down

Some additional bursts of moderate snowfall are likely through midnight with additional snow accumulations of 1"-3" through 2am.  Snowfall rates will rapidly diminish through early Thursday morning as the snowfall becomes light and intermittent with only a bit of patchy light snow or snow grains persisting beyond daybreak on Thanksgiving.

Woman dies after falling from Kaaterskill Falls

GREENE COUNTY -- Officials say a Dutchess County woman died after falling off a cliff on top of Kaaterskill Falls.

The incident happened when the woman lost her footing shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities say the 23-year-old woman fell more than 150 feet. Department of Environmental Conservations responded to the scene on Tuesday, and used a high-angle rope system and stokes basket to recover the body early Wednesday morning.

The woman's name has not been released, pending notification of the family.
