ALBANY -- An Albany man is facing up to 7 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to strangulation on Friday.

Sam Mann, 63, admitted to strangling a victim at a residence on Central Avenue last December. He also punched the victim in the face several times and forced a sock down the victim's throat and tissues up the person's nose, causing the victim to lose consciousness.
