Woman arrested for DWI twice in 3 hours

QUEENSBURY -- Police arrested a Hudson Falls woman for DWI twice within 3 hours this week.

Carla Frieman, 50, was arrested at 10:43 on Monday after officials say she was seen weaving and speeding on Route 9 in Queensbury. Her car was left in a parking lot while she was processed and authorites say she failed a breath test with a blood alcohol content of .20 percent. Warren County Sheriff's Deputies also cited Frieman for an open container of alcohol in the car.

The woman was released and given a ride home just before midnight.

Less than an hour later, the Sheriff's Office received a tip that Frieman was going to get her car in Queensbury and planned to drive it home. When cops arrived, they found her trying to leave the parking lot. She was arrested again and authorities say this time, her blood alcohol was .14 percent.

Once again, Frieman was released, this time, to a third party.
