Low pressure developing off the Southeast coast will quickly move northeast tracking south of New England through Wednesday night as colder air arrives to produce a moderate to heavy snow storm for much of the region.  Snow will develop quickly Wednesday morning and fall heavily at times through the afternoon and evening before tapering off and ending before daybreak on Thursday.  Expect difficult travel conditions with snow packed roads and low visibility through the duration of this storm.  Click Here for the CBS6 Weather Forecast Page

Catfish Derby in Catskill

CATSKILL - An afternoon of fishing Saturday at Dutchmans Landing brought people together of all ages for the 4th annual 'Leo Lasher' catfish derby.
The event started in 2011 and since then the numbers of participants have reached in the 300's.

The goal is to see who can get the biggest catch of the day!

The winner will get five-hundred dollars.

Another incentive to cast out all day was the chance to win sixty-five thousand dollars if you can set a New York state record for the largest catfish!

The current record is 32 pounds, 12 ounces and 40 inches long.
