There remains considerable uncertainty in the track and intensity of an anticipated coastal storm from Wednesday afternoon through early Thanksgiving morning, but confidence is increasing for a storm to bring accumulating snow to much of the region which would cause travel difficulty.  Details on amounts and timing will become more clear over the next twelve to twenty four hours.  Keep up to date on the forecast.

Brunswick man charged with choking girlfriend

BRUNSWICK - State Police say a Brunswick man was arrested after he allegedly choked his girlfriend and broke her cell phone.

Police say 28-year-old Sean Sullivan was charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, Fourth Degree Criminal Mischief, and Second Degree Harassment after the incident Friday morning.

Police say Sullivan and his girlfriend began a verbal argument when Sullivan broke her cell phone, choked her, and pushed her.

An order of protection was issued against Sullivan.
