Significant Winter Storm Possible From Monday Night Through Tuesday

An area of low pressure will track to our south through Monday.  Some light snow should develop through Monday afternoon and evening as a result.  The low pressure will then rapidly intensify off of the Northeast coast Monday night and Tuesday.  Uncertainty remains as to the exact track of this low pressure, but if it tracks close enough to the coast, portions of the area could see a significant snowfall.

Former CBS News President Ed Joyce dies

The former CBS News President Ed Joyce has died.

Joyce worked for CBS News for nearly three decades and became president in 1983.  He was president of the organization for two years.

Some of Joyce's first jobs in the industry were in Utica and Schenectady before working for CBS Radio in Chicago. 

Joyce's son Randall is currently a producer for "60 Minutes." 

According to the Daily Gazette his death was confirmed by his son who also said that he died as a result of throat cancer.

Joyce was 81 years old.
