The holiday season is a time for creating special memories with special people, a time to be part of something meaningful. You can give something that means something this holiday season by donating blood with the American Red Cross. Your gift can make it possible for patients to have more time to make memories of their own.
Each day, the American Red Cross needs on average 14,000 pints of blood to meet the needs of patients at approximately 2,600 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. During the holiday season, donations often decline because donors are busier with holiday activities and travelling to see loved ones. The decline could have a serious impact for hospital patients who are depending on generous blood donations. All blood types are currently needed, especially types AB and O, as well as B negative and A negative.
Give something that means something this holiday season""give blood on December 23 with CBS 6 and the American Red Cross!
