Positively Upstate: Make-A-Wish makes teen's dream come true

GLOVERSVILLE, NY - A teen was surprised with a trip Disney World courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

14-year-old Hannah Kincheloe loves dancing. she's been a student at the Romano Acro Dance Academy in Gloversville for the past 2 years.

“I just like being with my friends and like performing at the end," Kincheloe tells CBS 6.

Last year, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. But Hannah fiercely fought the diagnosis. She had the tumor removed.

Thursday, Jessica Romano, who runs the dance studio, partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to put on a special dance performance, and a surprise trip to Disney World for Hannah and her family. Hannah is going to Disney World for her birthday later this month.

"It's been a wonderful experience having Make-A-Wish take care of Hannah's greatest desire,” said Jennifer Kincheloe, Hannah’s mother.

After Hannah had her tumor removed, she returned to her dance classes, where she's been performing for the entire season.
