Coalition calls on Governor Cuomo to protect access to clean water during outbreak

ALBANY NY (WRGB) - Environmental officials want to make sure that all New Yorkers have clean water during this crisis.

A coalition of more than 70 New York organizations have sent a letter to the Governor's office asking him to make sure that no water is shut off from apartments or other buildings through the pandemic.

They're asking Cuomo to restore water to households that previously had services suspended due to payment problems, and to provide economic relief to those who cannot afford their water bills.
