RENSSELAER, NY (WRGB) — A mass food distribution is scheduled for Friday morning in the city.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany, the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, and The New HOPE Greater Community Development, Inc. are partnering with local organizations to distribute food at the Boys and Girls Club, 544 Broadway.

Food items provided by the food bank will be packaged by volunteers from partner organizations. People interested in volunteering to assist in packaging and distributing food are asked to arrive at 8:15 a.m.
Distribution begins at 9:30 a.m., and will consist of a drive-through and a walk-up line.
No registration is required, and guests are asked not to arrive prior to noon, because of traffic concerns.
Catholic Charities and the Regional Food Bank and local community partners have distributed over 2 million pounds of food this year, providing people with fresh, frozen and shelf-stable food items.

1/27 - Italian Community Center, 1450 Fifth Avenue, Troy at 9:30 AM
1/29 - Our Lady of Hope Church, 119 Reid Street, Fort Plain at 9:30 AM
