GLENS FALLS NY (WRGB) - Congresswoman Elise Stefanik announced Friday that Glens Falls Hospital will be receiving $4.1 Million.

The funding, which is through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) goes to hospitals serving a large percentage of populations on thin margins and those in rural areas, small Metropolitan areas, and those with certain Medicare designations.

“I am thrilled to announce this significant funding for Glens Falls Hospital, as it will help the hospital recover from revenue losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Congresswoman Stefanik.

Glens Falls Hospital has experienced significant financial burdens as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I worked diligently directly with HHS in order to write a new formula that included our North Country hospitals, so they could receive the direct funding they so desperately need," Stefanik added.
