Hoosick Falls residents still waiting for PFOA blood test results
HOOSICK FALLS -- People in Hoosick Falls are still waiting for their blood test results to be mailed by the state Department of Health to see how much PFOA may be in their system.
Testing began Feb. 13.
On April 5, the DOH told us it couldn't give a specific date the tests would be mailed, but said "it should be soon."
On April 13, at the two-month mark, they told us results would be sent out two to three months from when the tests are done, within the next couple weeks.
It's now been three months and a week, and the DOH has given us the same response -- that people "can expect to receive their results in the next couple of weeks."
