State helping Hoosick Falls cover PFOA costs

HOOSICK FALLS -- The Village is getting some more help from the state to cover the costs of the PFOA crisis.

The State Environmental Facilities Corporation is giving the village $220,000 to help pay for various costs including engineering work.

The Village has agreed to pay the money back if it receives restitution from the companies responsible for the contamination, but will not be charged interest.
