"Ride for Missing Children" held in Guilderland
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (WRGB) -- Bicyclists in the Capital Region honored the memory of missing children and adults Friday during the 11th annual "Ride for Missing Children."
The goal of the event was to spread the message of child safety and abduction prevention, as well as the need for child safety education.
Bicyclists traveled 100 miles, visiting several schools in Albany and Schenectady counties. They included Guilderland, Voorheesville, Forts Ferry, and Lincoln Elementary schools.
The ride ended at the YMCA Friday night. CBS 6's Julia Dunn was among those who participated.
