20th annual Cycle the Erie Canal Bike Tour rolls into Albany
More than 600 cyclists pedaled their way into Albany on Sunday, finishing the last stretch of their 400-mile journey from Buffalo.
The ride was the 20th annual Cycle the Erie Canal Bike Tour, which is put on by Parks and Trails New York, in celebration of the canal.
The cyclists rode between 40 and 60 miles each day, along the Erie Canalway Trail.
The trail is expected to be complete, as part of the 750-mile Empire State Trail, by 2020.
