Adams man indicted on terrorism charges

ADAMS, Mass. -- A western Massachusetts man stands accused of plotting a terrorist attack in support of the Islamic State.

Alexander Ciccolo of Adams was arrested last year after police say he ordered guns and planned to donate pressure-cooker bombs at an unidentified university.

Ciccolo has been indicted on a count of attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist group, as well as with attempting to use weapons of mass destruction.
