Albany man found guilty on kidnapping, rape charges
ALBANY, NY (WRGB) An Albany man has been found guilty of kidnapping and rape of an unconscious woman, according District Attorney P. David Soares.
Investigators say that Abdul Trowell, on November 6th, 2017, kidnapped an unconscious woman from a vehicle, bringing her to his apartment. on Eagle Street. We was also accused of holding a knife to the victims friend, demanding he leave the apartment.
A jury found him guilty of having sex with the still unconscious woman.
Trowell was found guilty of kidnapping, rape and criminal possession of a weapon. He's facing up to 50 years when sentenced on December 10, 2018.
