Albany police investigating bank robbery on Central Avenue
ALBANY, NY (WRGB) -- Albany police are investigating a bank robbery that took place on Central Avenue Monday afternoon.
According to a news release, officers responded to First New York Federal Credit Union located at 818 Central Avenue around 2:10 p.m. An employee told officers that a man entered the bank and handed over a note demanding money.
The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket.
Police took a person into custody, who they said is possibly related to the incident.
