Albany Police: Man arrested, accused of possessing handgun

ALBANY , NY (WRGB) Albany Police have arrested an Albany man and recovered a loaded handgun.

On July 25th, just before 5:00 PM officers took Anthony Jones,34, into custody after police say he was found to be in possession of a .22 caliber handgun.

Police say he was stopped on Broad Street between Schuyler and Alexander Streets as part of an ongoing investigation.

Jones was charged with one count of criminal possession of a weapon.
