Albany Police: Two arrested, seen fighting in online video

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) Albany Police have arrested the two people they believe were involved in a street fight that was recorded, then posted to social media.

Investigators with the Albany Police say back on Wednesday, May 29, 2018 at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the area of Lark Street and Orange Street for reports of a male with a laceration to the head.

Police say 37-year-old Floyd Dewitt was found with a laceration his head that he sustained by being hit with a pipe. Investigators say Barbara Garcia, 31, struck Dewitt in the head with a pipe.

Police say the fight moved to the street when Police say Dewitt punched Garcia several times about the head, face and body.

Police say Dewitt also kicked out the front windows of the residence.

Dewitt has been charged with Assault, Menacing, and Criminal Mischief .

Garcia was charged with Assault and Criminal Possession Weapon

Both were arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court.
