Warren County, WRGB — A road in Warren County is closed after a beaver dam broke and water flooded the area.
The closure is on Olmstedville Road also known as Route 19 is Chester.
The flooding was first reported around 6:40 Sunday morning, after residents heard a loud crashing sound, as a dam broke.
The Warren County Department of Public Works and Office of Emergency Services responded to the area.

Officials say part of the road’s shoulder and the nearby culvert are damaged.
As of Sunday afternoon, the water had started to subside, and county officials expect the road to re-open mid-week after they can make needed repairs.
As spring rain showers arrive, county officials say we could see more flooding in the future.
"If we get some heavy rain, we could be looking at some streams and rivers going over their banks,” said Don Lehman, Director of Warren County Public Affairs. “But the ice jam threat seems to knock on wood and seems to be past us at this point."
Traffic is being diverted onto Lane Road to North Gore road to Igerna Road and then to Route 9.
A video message board is being posted on Route 28 North in Minerva to advise traffic of the issue as well.
