Communities warn of possible flooding

Warmer weather in the next few days could lead to ice jams like one from earlier this week -- and that could lead to flooding.

Glenville and Rotterdam both put out alerts Friday.

Emergency Management in Schenectady County did issue a warning for flooding in low lying areas around the Mohawk -- and they say that potential will exist for the next few weeks due to ice jams and temperature fluctuations.

Officials say residents here should be ready to evacuate if need be and that they will be notified through the County emergency call system.

For residents without landlines or with unlisted phone numbers, they can register online for emergency notifications.
