Hannaford Food drive at Joe Bruno Stadium to benefit area food pantries.
TROY, NY (WRGB) Baseball, hot dogs and an important food drive all on display at Joe Bruno stadium on Saturday night.
The Tri-city Valley Cats hosted the "Hannaford helps fight hunger night" to benefit the food pantries for the Capital District.
Fans who brought three non-perishable food items to the game received a free game ticket voucher.
It was a pretty successful night. The drive broke last year's record with over two thousand pounds of donated food.
