TROY (WRGB) – Kids across the Capital Region are on Winter Break this week. The Children's Museum of Science and Technology (CMOST) in Troy has special activities planned each day, to help keep the kids smiling, and keep their minds moving.

The activities are all hands-on. There are animal exhibits and shows, science activities, tinkering, and maker-space challenges.

“We're letting them experiment and succeed or fail, we'll help to bolster up their skills, so they develop problem solving skills and have a lot of fun.” Sarah Smith with CMOST said.

She says it’s fun for kids of all ages, and the whole family. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The museum also has a special Winter Break project, that they need your help with. They’re collecting board games to donate to St. Jospeh’s Shelter.

The museum is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm Monday – Sunday this week. Admission is $5 per person, children under 2 are free.
