A Saratoga Springs man has been arrested, accused of attempting to gain employment at a school, by claiming to be a registered nurse.

Investigators from the Warren County Sheriff's Office say they they were contacted by the Queensbury School District.

According to the Sheriff's Office, 22-year-old Thomas Dean was attempting to pass himself off as a New York State Registered Nurse in an effort to apply for a summer school nursing position within the district.

Dean was charged with offering a false instrument, unauthorized practice of a profession, and burglary. An order of protection was also filed, banning him from the school grounds.

Dean was arraigned and turned over to the NYS Police to face similar charges in the town of Wilton.
