Man admits to accidental shooting at Wilton motel
WILTON, N.Y. (WRGB) - A man has admitted to an accidental shooting at a Wilton motel where a bullet went through a wall and took a man's life.
Daniel Salas Miranda faces up to 10 years in prison for the shooting at the Crest Inn last October.
He admitted to criminally negligent homicide and trying to hide the firearm after the shooting.
Miranda's sentencing is scheduled to for April.
The Crest Inn is owned by the Hussain family - the same family that owns Prestige Limousine, the company involved in the deadly Schoharie limo crash.
