Man sentenced to prison in North Greenbush, Troy robbery cases
TROY, NY (WRGB) A 26 year old man will spend the next 13 years behind bars.
Charlie Hardt was sentenced in Rensselaer County Court after pleading guilty to three counts of robbery.
Police say that on Feb. 3, Hardt displayed a weapon while robbing Don Cook Jewelry on Agway Drive, then committed a home invasion nearby, once again displaying a weapon, and forcibly stealing a vehicle.
He was also accused of robbing the SEFCU on Hoosick Street in the City of Troy back on February 9th.
Hardt will also pay $22,000 in restitution.
