CAPITAL REGION, NY (WRGB) — Rotterdam Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara has become the latest member of the NYS Legislature to call on fellow Democrat, Governor Andrew Cuomo, to resign in the wake of sexual harassment allegations.
Santabarbara told CBS 6 Monday afternoon that “Enough is enough”. Over the weekend a second woman came forward and told the NY Times that when she worked in the Executive Office Cuomo asked her sexually explicit questions, including if she had ever had sex with an older man.

Santabarbara says the apology the Governor issued is not enough – the state budget is due in one month and he says vital work may not get done if this distraction continues to hang over the State Capitol.
In the past 48 hours the governor has changed his tune on how his actions should be investigated -- after a couple of poorly received takes, he agreed to refer the case to the Attorney General Letitia James. James established her independence in January with a bombshell report highly critical of the state's handling of the COVID crisis in nursing homes.
She will hire a law firm, deputize them, and oversee their investigation.
