UPDATE: Fire crews in Selkirk put down a 22-acre brush fire Saturday afternoon.
The assistant fire chief tells us it's not clear how the fire started, but a nearby building was burning when crews arrived.
He said finding water was a challenge at first, and the wind made the fight more difficult.
One firefighter was treated for minor problems with the heat, but was hydrated and is OK this evening.
The assistant chief reminds people the state has a burn ban in effect until mid-May.
