March is National Nutrition Month and to make sure high school athletes are keeping their bodies fueled, a professional sports dietitian is sharing her knowledge.

This week, more than 500 student athletes across New York state, including athletes from Section II, will participate in a leadership conference. One of the keynote presenters is Leslie Bonci, who has worked as an NFL dietitian for more than 30 years.
Bonci spent the last eight years with the Kansas City Chiefs, and while teenagers may not have the same diet as former MVP Patrick Mahomes, they can still prepare like a Super Bowl champion.
