Organization looking to uphold tenants' rights and end evictions statewide

The Right to Counsel Coalition launched its 2023 legislative platform during a rally at the Albany State Capitol.

Right to Counsel works to uphold tenants’ rights and end all evictions across New York State.

In the past they successfully fought for the right to free legal representation in New York City.

On Tuesday, the coalition is calling for it's passage statewide and for it to be fully funded by $172 million dollars out of the state's budget.
