Overnight shooting near Pittsfield parking lot

September 10, 2017 — Pittsfield police say they are investigating a shooting near the Fenn and First Street parking lot.

Police say officers responders around 1:30 Sunday morning, however they say the victim had already been taken to the hospital.

They say the victim is a 32-year-old Pittsfield resident who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

The Pittsfield Police Detective Bureau and Crime Scene Services responded and recovered numerous shell casings and other evidence.

The incident remains under investigation.
