Plane off runway at Albany Int'l Airport, 2nd day in a row

COLONIE - A plane that went off a runway on Tuesday, has rolled off a runway again.

At around 11:53AM Wednesday Colonie police say they were called to respond to reports that a plane went off of runway 1.

Albany International Airport Spokesperson, Doug Myers says the single prop plane that ran off the runway was the same plane that ran off the runway on Tuesday.

The aircraft was preparing to take off when it left the runway, taxied through the adjoining grass and onto a nearby taxiway, according to Myers.

Myers says there was no damage or injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
