Police investigating vehicle, pedestrian crash at Schenectady High
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WRGB) - A 17-year-old is facing charges, accused of crashing his car into a student at Schenectady High School.
The 16-year-old student victim was taken to the hospital with possible life threatening injuries.
Court paperwork states that the teen was attempting to "drift" the vehicle when he struck the other teen.
Shawn Permaul was charged with assault.
The crash happened around noon, just outside one of the school's parking lots.
