SARATOGA SPRINGS -- "You wouldn't want that in any neighborhood."

Saratoga springs police responded to a call of someone on Woodlawn avenue who found a flyer for the white knights of the Ku Klux Klan on their car. Police found several more of them on other parked cars on that street. Susan Malikow says that group sends the wrong message about her neighborhood.

"It’s amazing to me that people would even have the idea that that's something that they could do. Police say whoever distributed the flyers, did it overnight, and they say this isn't the first time they've gotten a call about similar kinds of flyers being placed on cars.

"is it free speech, protected speech? Probably so, but the biggest thing that I think is concerning is in a residential neighborhood and someone is putting out flyers on cars, its not for free restaurant food or coupons, it's the KKK,” says Lt. Bob Jillson of Saratoga Springs Police.

Malikow says there's only one reason she can think of on what kind of message those flyers send.

"Hate. That's it,” she said.

Police are still examining those flyers. If you have information, give them a call.
