Police: Parole absconder arrested on burglary charges

MOREAU, NY (WRGB) State Police say they have arrested a parole absconder in connection to a daytime burglary of a home.

Police say a Moreau resident returned home to several items stolen. Police say the homeowner also reported hearing the suspect fleeing the home.

State Police and K9 officers tracked the suspect to a nearby residence, but had fled prior to police showing up.

State Police say they located the suspect in a field about a mile from the scene. Brian Deso was charged with burglary and for the parole warrant.

Another person, Karen Conley, was arrested on hindering charges. Police say they recovered stolen property.

Deso was arraigned in the Town of Moreau Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
