Police: three arrested after stolen handgun, drugs recovered during raid

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) Police in Albany have made three arrests after executing a search warrant as a Clinton Avenue home.

Police say on Monday at around 7:50 PM Police entered 474 Clinton Avenue.

Investigators say during the search they recovered a .38 caliber handgun, crack cocaine, and paraphernalia used to sell cocaine.

The handgun was reported stolen in Okaloosa Florida back in July of 2016.

Chynna Wallace, 19 of Albany was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon , Criminal Possession of Stolen Property and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Two others inside of the residence, Mary Wallace, 48 of Albany and Sean Hall, 24, of Albany, are facing drug possession and other charges.

All three were arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court. Police are crediting tips sent to the Capital Region Crime Stoppers aided in the investigation.
