ALTAMONT (WRGB) — It was a weekend of fun for pirates, princesses, and knights in Altamont.
The Renaissance Festival returned to Indian Ladder Farms.
They had all your renaissance favorites, like costumes, jousting and sword fights, and turkey legs.

New this year, there was a pirate pub crawl and a troll museum.
Kendall Hudson, an organizer of the fair, says it's fun for people of all ages, saying,
“We get so many great people from around the Capital District and beyond that come to enjoy the music, the magic, and the food, of the renaissance.”
The festival has been running for 9 years, but of course they didn't operate last year because of COVID, so they were excited to return.
