Rotterdam Police: Man accused of abusing 2 month old son
ROTTERDAM, NY (WRGB) Police have arrested a Rotterdam man, accused of abusing a 2 month old baby.
Police say they were notified after a 2 month old baby was admitted to the hospital, showing signs of abuse.
Investigatores say that detectives learned that the injuries were consistent with shaken baby syndrome.
Police arrested the baby's father, 21 year old Tristan Tinney. He's charged with assault and reckless assault of a child.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Schenectady County Jail on $50,000.
The baby is in stable but critical condition at the time of this wwriting.
