Selkirk home a total loss after Wednesday fire

SELKIRK, N.Y. (WRGB) - A Selkirk home is a total loss after a Wednesday fire.

The call for a fire at 30 Trotter Road came in just after 11 a.m.

The homeowner, his wife and three young children were in the home when the fire started in the garage. They were able to evacuate safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but isn't considered to be suspicious.
