State Police: Man arrested, attempting to hide marijuana in woods after crash

TOWN OF MOREAU, NY (WRGB) State Police have arrested a Saratoga Springs man, facing a list of charges after a Sunday crash on I-87.

State Police say 22 year old Michael Civitello II was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, tampering, aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding.

Police say, Civitello was driving on a suspended license when he was involved in a single car crash. Troopers say he was also attempting to hide a large quantity of marijuana in the woods near the scene.

Civitello, II was arraigned and sent to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
