SARATOGA COUNTY -- Three suspects are behind bars after a robbery-in-progress call in Stillwater.

At about 9:34 Friday night, officers responded to a call at the Mobil Mart on Hudson Avenue. Police say the individuals had fled the scene when they arrived, but that Mechanicville Police found a suspect vehicle with three occupants in the Price Chopper parking lot, near the town line.

Information obtained by Stillwater Police resulted in all three being taken into custody and charged with robbery in the 1st degree, a class B felony.

Additional information garnered through a joint investigation with Mechanicville Police and the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office identified the three suspects are responsible for two other recent robberies -- one on April 6 in Schuylerville, and one on April 7 in Mechanicville.

Christopher Hutchins, Ashley M. Deming and Daniel D. Deming were all arraigned in Mechanicville City Court on numerous felony charges, including robbery, grand larceny, and conspiracy, and were later taken to Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.

According to the sheriff's office, the three suspects will appear in all three courts at a later date.
