TRAFFIC ALERT: Road closures for film shoot in Troy

TROY (WRGB) – There will be several road closures and parking restrictions in Troy on Thursday December 6th for a film production.

We’re told the movie is called “Motherless Brooklyn”. It’s being produced by In His Hat Productions, Inc. It’s set to be released in late 2019. The movie is set in the 1950s. Producers say they chose Troy for the shoot because there are a lot of well-preserved, historic-looking streets and buildings. Crews will be filming VFX Plate Shots – these shots will be used as back-drops and laid over green screens. We’re told none of the actors will be in Troy for Thursday’s shoot, but the movie features Bruce Willis, Ed Norton, Willem Dafoe, and Alec Baldwin.
