A memorial Friday night honored the six people from Columbia and Greene Counties killed in alcohol-involved car crashes last year.

Six red bulbs were lit on the safety tree as part of Sean's Run activities at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

The run was created following the 2002 death of Sean Patrick French, a 17-year-old student at Chatham High School -- the passenger in a drunk driving crash.
