Troy Police: Jaywalking leads to drug arrest
TROY, NY (WRGB) Troy Police say they stopped a man for jaywalking, leading to drug charges.
Police say 47 year old Patrick Simpson was stopped by Troy police after Jaywalking in an area known for drug activity.
It was then, according to police, Simpson was found to have 14 grams of cocaine as well as $14,000 in cash.
Simpson was arraigned and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail. He's charged with two counts of possession and jaywalking.
