Troy's city council votes to rewrite 'Dangerous Dog Law'
TROY, N.Y. (WRGB) - A resolution on Troy's ‘Dangerous Dog Law’ has passed.
The city council has voted in favor of revisiting and writing the law.
The law came into question after a dog named Luna was at risk of being put to sleep after she bit a neighbor's dog.
Troy's ‘Dangerous Dog Law’ was written back in 2006, and it's stricter than any other law like it across the state.
It’s unclear how the rewrite may impact Luna’s case
