WILTON -- State Police arrested two women Saturday, hours apart, both for DUI.
At about 2:24 p.m. Saturday, an off-duty trooper observed a vehicle on Gailor Road driving erratically and nearly causing several collisions. Investigation by troopers stationed at Wilton found the driver, Diane Larouech, had been operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state.
As troopers placed Larouech in custody, she and her sister, Donna Larouech, resisted arrest and attempted to fight them. Both were taken into custody and taken to the Wilton barracks, where Diane Larouech supplied a breath sample of .22 BAC. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest, and various other traffic tickets. Donna was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. Both were released pending prosecution at a later date.
Roughly five hours after the initial incident, a trooper spotted a vehicle committing vehicle and traffic violations, again on Gailor Road. The driver was identified as Donna Larouech, who was taken into custody. She was transported to the Wilton barracks, and provided a breath sample of .19 BAC. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and released pending prosecution at a later date.
