Two teens arrested after Schenectady hotel robbery


    SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WRGB) - Two teens have been arrested after a robbery at Hampton Inn.

    Schenectady police say they responded to the Hampton Inn at 450 State Street on Thursday afternoon following a report of a robbery. Employees told officers that two men who had been staying at the hotel forcefully took the cash register drawer and fled on foot.

    Police located 18-year-old Shaun Rowe and 18-year-old Dupree Wiliams a short time later.

    Rowe was charged with robbery in the second and third degree. Williams was charged with robbery in the second degree.

    Both are being held in city lock-up pending an arraignment on Friday.
