Woman facing charges in fatal motorcycle crash

PALATINE, N.Y. (WRGB) The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office says they have charged a St. Johnville woman in connection to a fatal crash involving a motorcycle.

Investigators say 29-year-old Danielle Dager was driving a Mazda 6 with an underage passenger when she struck a motorcycle while attempting to turn into the Price Chopper Plaza on State Highway 5.

The operator of the motorcycle, Joseph Kiuber, and the passenger, Sherri Orlosky, were ejected from the motorcycle. Kiuber was hospitalized for two months. Orlosky was taken to St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam where she succumbed to her injures.

Dager was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular manslaughter, two counts of vehicular assault, aggravated DWI with a child, DWAI drugs, reckless driving.

She was arraigned in Town of Palatine Court and sent to the Montgomery County Jail without bail.

Police say that lab results showed that she tested positive for drugs.
