BetterU Program to help women stick to New Year's Resolutions
It's the second day of 2019 - how are you doing with your New Year's Resolutions?
We're getting some help with sticking to our resolutions from neurologist at Albany Medical Center and spokesperson for the American Heart Association, Dr. Colum Amory.
BetterU can help some women improve their heart health. The 12 week program is part of the Go Red for Women movement. 10-12 women will be selected, where they will then learn healthy eating habits, learn how to shop for healthy food during a tour of Price Chopper/Market 32, and receive personal trainers at the YMCA.
Organizers say that past participants have seen a decrease in their blood pressure and cholesterol levels, increased their strength and flexibility, and lost inches and pounds.
